About Me

I am an assistant professor at the Université de Montréal affiliated with MILA. I'm looking for students and postdocs, if you are interested in autonomous vehicles, SLAM, probabilistic inference or deep learning for robotics, please apply through Mila admissions.

I am also the Chief Operating Officer of Duckietown Engineering Co, which is a fictional start-up used to teach the class MIT 2.166 Autonomous Vehicles and is now being taught at Université de Montréal, ETH Zurich, and TTI Chicago. We are always looking for more contributors please contact us for more info.

Previously, I was a research scientist in the Distributed Robotics Lab led by Prof. Daniela Rus where I led the CSAIL/Toyota Autonomous Car Project. Previously to that I was a Postdoc in the Marine Robotics Group headed by Prof. John J. Leonard. I completed my PhD at the University of New Brunswick under the co-supervision of Profs. Mae Seto, Liuchen Chang, Howard Li.
